A balanced and healthy diet should include fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and lean proteins. These foods have the nutrients your teeth and gums need to stay healthy and strong. Some foods, like fruits and vegetables, can even clean your teeth as you eat them! So, do your best to fill your diet with these tooth-healthy foods and drinks.

When it comes to snacking, it’s best to avoid it. Snacking constantly exposes your teeth and gums to the harmful substances that damage them. If you have to snack, make sure the products you eat are healthy for your smile, rinse with water and chew sugar-free gum.
